MACHINE CALLED MAN Announces New Singer
June 4, 2009MACHINE CALLED MAN, the San Francisco-based band which features in its ranks former members of IMAGIKA and JUNGLE ROT, has recruited Mark Schlageter (ex-REACTION 31) as the group's new lead singer. The band parted ways with previous vocalist Norman Skinner in February 2009 due to musical differences.
MACHINE CALLED MAN is completing the writing process for the follow-up to 2004's "2.004" for a late 2009 release and preparing to re-enter the live circuit. According to the band, "The new material is more dynamic, significantly heavier and more progressive than '2.004'."
